| (3/13/11) The Los Angeles Times reports that the Angels re-assigned the following players to minor-league camp on Sunday: pitchers Eric Junge and Ryan Braun and catcher Alberto Rosario. |
| Angels sign other Braun |
| (12/14/10) The Angels signed RP Ryan Z. Braun to a minor league deal on Tuesday, as reported by the Los Angeles Times. Braun made 52 relief appearances for Triple-A Charlotte last season, saving 18 games and compiling a 2.20 ERA. The righty last appeared in the majors in 2007 with Kansas City. |
| White Sox trim down roster |
| (3/23/10) The White Sox moved closer to setting their 25-player roster for the start of the regular season. They optioned C Tyler Flowers and pitcher Carlos Torres to Triple-A Charlotte, and reassigned pitcher Ryan Braun, outfielders Jordan Danks and Josh Kroeger and infielders Brent Morel and C.J. Retherford to minor league camp. That left Chicago with 32 players remaining in its major league camp. |

Hernandez belts two-out, walk-off HR as Reds win
Ramon Hernandez hit a two-out, three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning Thursday, rallying the Cincinnati Reds to a 7-6 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers in an opening-day flashback to their NL Central title season.
