| Pirates send Toregas overboard |

(2/22/13) The Pirates released seldom-used catcher Wyatt Toregas on Friday, making him one of the team's first casualties this spring. Toregas, who was out of baseball during the 2012 season, was in camp on a minor-league deal he signed with Pittsburgh last November.
