Chico removed from disabled list: The Nationals removed SP Matt Chico from the 60-day DL on Wednesday and optioned him to Double-A. He had been on there since last July after undergoing Tommy John surgery.

Fantasy Analysis

Chico started 31 games for the Nationals two seasons ago, going 7-9 with a 4.63 ERA, but lasted only 11 games in 2008 before being forced to the DL. Chico will work on his game in Double-A and might have an outside shot at returning to the Washington rotation in the second half. Continue to ignore him in all Fantasy formats for now, however.
