Breslow a force in bullpen : Diamondbacks reliever Craig Breslow credits the adjustments he made in sprain training to his recent success on the mound. Breslow entered Saturday's contest against the Royals with a 1.31 ERA over 18 appearances on the year, which is tied for sixth-lowest in the National League. "New team, new coaching staff, I think I'm feeling them out as much as they are me," Breslow told MLB.com. "It takes a little bit of time to kind of define roles, but I think as long as I can be consistent, it's a lot easier to carve out a role for me. If you're not really sure what you're getting, it's hard to pencil me into a specific spot." (Updated 05/19/2012)

Fantasy Analysis
Breslow would not got into what the adjustments he made, but whatever they were, it seems to be working. He has not allowed a run over the 9 1/3 innings in has pitched in May and has only allowed one walk while striking out eight batters. However, because he is not in line to get save chances, Breslow should only be owned in deeper NL-only formats that reward true middle men at this point in the season. (Updated 05/19/2012).
