| Brewers activate Tom Gorzelanny |

(4:48 pm ET) With Hiram Burgos on the disabled list, the Brewers activated pitcher Tom Gorzelanny Friday. Gorzelanny had been on the DL since May 7 with shoulder tendinitis.
Gorzelanny will pitch out of the bullpen, where he has a 2.30 ERA in 15 2/3 innings.

(4:30 pm ET) The Brewers are expected to activate reliever Tom Gorzelanny before Friday's game, MLB.com reports.
Gorzelanny has been on the disabled list since May 11 (backdated to May 7) with shoulder tendinitis. He has a 2.30 ERA in 15 2/3 relief innings for Milwaukee.

(5/21/13) Brewers reliever Tom Gorzelanny threw 20 pitches in live batting practice Tuesday, and hopes to be back from shoulder tendinitis when the team begins a three-game series against the Pirates Friday.
Gorzelanny has been on the DL since May 11, but has been rehabbing. It is not clear whether he will need a minor-league rehab assignment. The team has not pushed his recovery hard, given the early point in the season in which the injury occurred.
"If this came up in August or September it'd be a different story, but we're just dealing with it now and I'll go back out and be ready to go," Gorzelanny told MLB.com Tuesday. "It went well. I feel good."

(5/11/13) The Brewers placed reliever Tom Gorzelanny on the 15-day disabled list due to tendinitis in his left shoulder, the team announced Saturday. Mike Fiers is expected to be recalled from Class A Brevard County prior to Sunday's series finale against the Reds to take Gorzelanny's place on the 25-man roster.
Gorzelanny is 1-0 with a 2.30 ERA and has 10 strikeouts and eight walks over 18 appearances (15 2/3 innings).

(12/20/12) The Brewers and left-hander Tom Gorzelanny agreed to a two-year, $6 million deal Thursday, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Gorzelanny made 45 appearances, including one start, for the Nationals last season, posting a 2.88 ERA and 1.32 WHIP.
