Guillen 'leaning' toward Cishek as closer : Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen said on Monday that he is leaning toward using reliever Steve Cishek for save situations moving forward, reports the South Florida Sun Sentinel. However, Guillen stopped short of naming him the full-time closer and added he may go with other options late in games. "Maybe. All a sudden you may see someone else. I don't know yet," Guillen said. "Some manager came up with that name, some genius guy [said], 'This is my closer.' The one you have more confidence in is the one who will close." (Updated 05/07/2012)

While Chisek appears to be the front-runner to take of the closing duties, Guillen would not give him an all-out endorsement on Monday.
