Preseason Outlook

After pitching well in a nine-start stint with the Pirates in 2008, Karstens struggled last year and ended up spending most of the season in the bullpen, where he continued to struggle. He walks too many batters for a guy who strikes out so few, making him the kind of reliever who'll wreck your ERA and WHIP in Fantasy. Ignore him on Draft Day. (Updated 2/2/10)
