MIlledge to give Japan a try: Free agent OF Lastings Milledge signed with the Tokyo Yakult Swallows of the Japanese Central League, according to the NPB Tracker website. Milledge spent the 2011 season in the White Sox system, but he played just two games for Chicago. (Updated 12/28/2011)

Fantasy Analysis
After a promising sophomore campaign with the Mets in 2007, Milledge failed to stick as a regular outfielder for both the Nationals and Pirates. Hopefully, he will fare better in Japan, but Fantasy owners won't have to worry about him, at least for the 2012 season. He can be ignored on draft day in all formats. (Updated 12/28/2011).
