Stewart will enter the 2012 season fully healthy and ready to turn over a new leaf with his new team the Cubs. Stewart batted just .156 with six RBI over 48 games last year in Colorado. A wrist injury and poor production limited his at-bats and the Rockies jettisoned him to Chicago. Just a career .236 hitter in the bigs, Stewart, who turns 27 very early in the season, slugged 25 home runs in 2009. The potential is there and the Cubs appear willing to give him the at-bats to realize it. Of course, Stewart will have to prove the ability to remain healthy and productive for Chicago before Fantasy owners start taking him seriously. Until that time, Stewart will remain just an NL-only Fantasy option with the upside of unrealized potential. He's a late-round Fantasy sleeper, at best. (Updated 2/8/12)
