Preseason Outlook

This Giants lefty has made steady improvement in each of the past three years even if he has to be classified as erratic start to start. He can pitch a no-hitter one start -- and has -- and alternately get abused -- he has. The fact the Giants are a contender help his status among late-round Fantasy pitchers and Sanchez could put everything together to qualify as a steal on Draft Day. We are not ready to consider Sanchez a 200-inning workhorse, if only because of his high pitch counts and walks, but he can be a great value with regard to his draft position -- a very noteworthy thing for a pick in the third-year starting pitcher breakout category.
