Millwood goes distance to win again: Rangers SP Kevin Millwood picked up his third straight victory and 13th of the season Thursday at the Angels, going the distance for the third time this season. He allowed three runs -- two earned -- on seven hits in nine innings, issuing one walk and recording 10 strikeouts, tying a season high.

Fantasy Analysis

Millwood ended the 2009 season pitching as well as when he began it, posting a 1.57 ERA over his last three starts. He struggled in the middle months but ended up having his best season as a member of the Rangers, posting a 3.67 ERA and 1.34 WHIP. He isn't the strikeout pitcher he once was, but he proved he still matters in Fantasy, especially since he pitches for a good offensive club. He'll be a worthy late-round pick in 2010.
