Darren Oliver sidelined with bruised forearm
by Chris Cwik \| CBSSports.com (4/11/13) Blue Jays releiver Darren Oliver will need a few days off with a bruised forearm. Oliver was hit in his pitching arm by a line drive Wednesday, and will need a few days to recover. The injury is being called a bruise, so it doesn't seem too serious at this time. He should be considered day to day.

Oliver decides to pitch for Jays
by Scott White \| Senior Fantasy Writer (1/16/13) After his agent said last week that the Blue Jays would either have to trade Darren Oliver to the Rangers or raise his salary to keep him from retiring, the 42-year-old left-hander backed off that stance and agreed to return to the Blue Jays at his initial $3 million salary Wednesday, according to MLB.com.

Oliver still hoping for a trade
by Chris Towers \| CBSSports.com (1/10/13) Blue Jays relief pitcher Darren Oliver has told the team that he will retire and walk away from his $3 million contract this season, unless the team trades him to the Rangers or gives him a pay raise, according to MLB.com. According to the report, the Rangers have inquired about a possible trade, but the move does not currently seem likely.
