Schmidt still on open market: Three-time All-Star hurler Jason Schmidt remains a free agent and there has been no recent news regarding any developments in his signing with any teams. Fantasy Analysis
Schmidt went 2-2 last year in four starts with a 5.60 ERA and a 1.59 WHIP. Considering his age, his arm troubles and his numbers in limited action since 2006, we find it hard to believe any team would give him anything more than a minor-league deal.
