(11/7/09) The Brewers have declined a $3.7 million option on RP David Weathers, who gets a $400,000 buyout.

(8/9/09) The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired Cincinnati right-hander David Weathers for a player to be named later.

Weathers takes second 2009 loss
(7/8/09) Reds RP David Weathers saw his record drop to 1-2 on the season Wednesday, taking a 3-2 loss at Philadelphia. Weathers gave up a walk-off RBI single to Shane Victorino with the game tied at 2-2 in the bottom of the ninth. He allowed two hits and a walk, coming on with two outs in the eighth and allowing the RBI single with two outs in the ninth.
