(9/9/2014) The Indians outrighted outfielder Chris Dickerson to Triple-A Columbus Tuesday, the team announced.

Dickerson has played in just two games since the end of August, while dealing with back tightness. He hit .224/.309/.327 in 98 at-bats with the Indians.

Dickerson was placed on outright waivers Saturday after being designated for assignment Friday. Baltimore reportedly dangled Dickerson in trade talks, but there were no suitors.

Dickerson played in 46 games with Baltimore and hit .245 with four homers and 13 RBI. If he stays in the organization, he'll be playing with Triple-A Norfolk.
