Brad Lincoln outrighted to Triple-A

(4/12/2014) The Phillies outrighted reliever Brad Lincoln to Triple-A Lehigh Saturday, removing him from the 40-man roster. According to MLB.com, Lincoln will go down to Lehigh to work on his fastball, after allowed three earned runs and five hits in 2 1/3 innings with the Phillies.

(4/12/2014) The Phillies have sent right-hander Brad Lincoln back to Triple-A Lehigh to make room for Jonathan Pettibone, who is set to start Saturday night against Miami.

Lincoln yielded three earned runs on four hits in two innings in his last outing. Pettibone has not pitched in a major league game since July 28.

(12/3/2013) The Toronto Blue Jays announced Tuesday they have traded right-hander Brad Lincoln to the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for catcher Erik Kratz and left-hander Rob Rasmussen on Tuesday.

Lincoln went 1-2 with a 3.98 ERA, 1.58 WHIP, and 25:22 K:BB ratio in 31 2/3 innings in the majors last season with Toronto.

Kratz played a career-high 68 games last season and batted .213/.280/.386 with nine home runs and 26 RBI. Rasmussen was acquired in the trade earlier in the month that sent Michael Young to Los Angeles. He went 3-11 with a 4.11 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 113:60 K:BB ratio in 135 2/3 innings between Double-A Chattanooga and Triple-A Albuquerque.

(8/24/2013) The Blue Jays optioned reliever Brad Lincoln to Triple-A Buffalo following Friday's game against the Astros. Lincoln allowed two runs on four hits over 1 1/3 innings Friday. He posted a 3.98 ERA and a 1.55 WHIP in 31 2/3 innings.

(8/3/2013) The Blue Jays announced following Friday's loss to the Angels that they will recall reliever Brad Lincoln from Triple-A Buffalo, to take Todd Redmond's place on the active roster.

Lincoln threw 21 2/3 innings in the majors earlier in the season, posting a 4.15 ERA in 13 appearances.

Lincoln pitched four scoreless innings in the marathon game Saturday, allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out three. He owns a 4.98 ERA in 21 2/3 innings with the Blue Jays this season.

(3/25/2013) The Toronto Blue Jays optioned relief pitcher Brad Lincoln and outfielder Anthony Gose to Triple-A Buffalo Monday, reports MLB.com. 

Lincoln was hoping to claim a spot in Toronto's opening day bullpen, but came down with shoulder inflammation last weekend and likely won't be ready for the start of the regular season. He could come back and join the bullpen once he's ready. 

Gose has seen some time up in the majors and posted a solid .279 batting average over 54 plate appearances this spring. Still, the Jays want him to see regular playing time in the minors as the 22-year-old is still developing.

(3/3/2013) The National Post reports Sunday that Blue Jays manager John Farrell said hurler Brad Lincoln is back in the running for a possible bullpen spot. Toronto originally wanted to stretch Lincoln out and have him pitch in the Triple-A rotation, but it appears they have decided he can help more as a reliever.

(1/16/2013) Blue Jays manager Alex Alex Anthopoulos said on Wednesday that Brad Lincoln will be stretched out during the spring just in case the club needs another starter. If the right-hander does not make the 25-man roster as a reliever, he will be sent to the rotation in Triple-A.
