Blanco is hitting .287/.357/.356 with 12 RBI in 87 at-bats.

Blanco is batting .281 with a .361 on-base percentage and .674 OPS in 21 games. Blanco, who platoons with Andres Torres in left field, has no home runs, two doubles, five RBI, seven runs and eight walks.

Blanco doubled in a run in the sixth and seventh innings. He finished 2 for 5 with a run scored and two RBI in a 10-7 victory in extras.
Blanco went 6 for 18 with two runs scored and three RBI during San Francisco's four-game set at Chicago. He is hitting .281 with four RBI in 11 games.
Gregor Blanco, Andres Torres to platoon in LF

Blanco received the nod Monday against lefty Clayton Kershaw and Torres is expected to start Tuesday against right-hander Josh Beckett.
"Whoever's the hottest with the bat will be out there," Bochy told MLB.com.
