Royals sign Brian Bocock to minor-league deal

(12/5/2013) The Royals have signed shortstop Brian Bocock to a minor-league deal that does not include an invitation to spring training.

Bocock split his time between two Triple-A teams last season, hitting .175/.237/.287 with three home runs and nine RBI in 143 at-bats with Syracuse and Indianapolis.

(7/10/2013) The Nationals sent infielder Brian Bocock to the Pirates Wednesday to complete a previous trade for catcher Brian Jeroloman, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Bocock was assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis.
