Indians' Lindor among players assigned to minors Thursday

(3/26/2015) The Indians announced Monday they optioned pitcher C.C. Lee to Triple-A Columbus. They also reassigned seven players to minor-league camp, including top prospect Francisco Lindor.

Also sent to minor-league camp were infielder Audy Ciriaco, outfielder Destin Hood, pitcher Dustin Molleken, catcher Adam Moore, pitcher Bryan Price and pitcher Michael Roth.


Indians C Adam Moore (hand) avoids fracture

(3/8/2015) X-rays on the injured hand of Indians catcher Adam Moore have revealed no fracture, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Moore has been diagnosed with a deep bone bruise after being hit on his left hand on a back swing. He is set to miss a couple of days while recovering.

Moore hit .298/.360/.484 with 12 home runs and 34 RBI in 312 at-bats with Triple-A El Paso in 2014.

He's scheduled to get an X-ray on his left (non-throwing) hand, according to a report from the Northeast Ohio Media Group's Paul Hoynes.

The team may add another catcher to the Triple-A roster to account for the injury, though the report states they won't promote top prospect Austin Hedges to the Triple-A level. Moore has hit .298/.364/.480 with eight home runs and 23 RBI in 225 at-bats with Triple-A El Paso.
