Noonan, who hit .296/.347/.416 at Triple-A during his age-23 season in 2012, is hitting .455/.500/.455 in 12 plate appearances with the Giants this year. He could earn a little more playing time if Marco Scutaro continues to struggle.

Noonan had made five appearances off the bench entering Thursday, batting .333 (2 for 6) with a walk, a run and a strikeout.
Nick Noonan recalled from Triple-A
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com (3/30/2013) The Giants have recalled infielder Nick Noonan from Triple-A Fresno, awarding the 23-year-old with a spot on the team's opening day roster. He hit .254/.288/.476 in 66 Cactus League plate appearances this spring.
Noonan will be a backup at second base, shortstop and third base.
