D-Backs sign Jordan Parraz to minor-league deal

(11/8/2013) The Diamondbacks signed outfielder Jordan Parraz to a minor-league contract Friday. Parraz played just 29 games for Triple-A Gwinnett before joining Double-A New Britain. He slashed .261/.347/.444 with 11 homers and 33 RBI over that span.

(5/10/2013) The Braves have released outfielder Jordan Parraz, the club announced.

Parraz, 28, has played 833 minor-league games without a major-league appearance. He was hitting .141/.230/.321 in 29 games for Triple-A Gwinnett.

(3/25/2013) The Braves assigned infielder Blake DeWitt and outfielder Jordan Parraz to minor-league camp.

A five-year veteran, DeWitt spent most of last season in the Cubs’ minor-league system.

Parrez, 28, has yet to make his major-league debut. He hit .273/.353/.370 over three levels last season.
