Twins reassign seven to minor-league camp

(3/17/2013) The Twins reassigned pitchers Deolis Guerra, who is dealing with an injury, and Shairon Martis to minor-league camp on Saturday.

Going to minor-league camp along with them are catcher Eric Fryer, infielders Chris Colabello and Mark Sobolewski and outfielders Brian Dinkelman and Clete Thomas.

Guerra is expected to have a shot at being included in Minnesota's bullpen once he's recovered from rib resection surgery.

Reyes doesn't make the cut

(3/24/2012) The Pittsburgh Pirates shifted the following players to their minor-league camp on Saturday: Jordy Mercer (Triple-A Indianapolis), Shairon Martis, Jo-Jo Reyes and Doug Slaten.
