Kontos blows first save

(8/13/2012) San Francisco reliever George Kontos blew his first save of the season Sunday afternoon against the Rockies. Kontos relieved Barry Zito in the sixth inning with a one-run lead as he surrendered two runs and three hits to escape out of the inning. He was just credited with one of those two runs and struck out two in just two-thirds of an inning in a 9-6 comeback victory.
