(5/15/2014) Former White Sox infielder Alex Liddi signed a minor-league deal with the Dodgers on Thursday, SB Nation reports. Liddi batted .171 in 76 at-bats in the minors. He will be reassigned to Triple-A Albuquerque.

(11/15/2013) The White Sox have signed free-agent infielder Alex Liddi to a minor-league contract, Fox Sports reports.

Liddi spent three seasons with the Mariners before being purchased by the Orioles during the 2013 season. He went 1 for 17 at the major-league level this season and hit .245/.299/.421 with 15 home runs, 65 RBI and 11 stolen bases in 425 Triple-A at-bats.

(9/6/2013) The Orioles selected the contract of outfielder Chris Dickerson and designated infielder Alex Liddi for assignment prior to Friday's game against the White Sox.

Dickerson had not played in the majors since July 14. He batted .243 with two homers and eight RBI in 136 at-bats at Triple-A Norfolk. Liddi hit .245 with 15 homers and 65 RBI in 425 at-bats.

(7/6/2013) The Mariners traded outfielder Alex Liddi to the Orioles Saturday, The Seattle Times reports.

The 24-year-old Liddi saw 17 at-bats for the Mariners this season and recorded one double. He's a career .208 hitter over parts of three seasons and 173 at-bats. The Orioles will start him at Triple-A Norfolk.

(6/28/2013) The Mariners cleared a spot on their 40-man roster Friday by designating Alex Liddi for assignment. Liddi was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma more than a week ago, after picking up just one hit in 17 at-bats in the majors.

Liddi, 24, was never able to turn his success in the minors into a consistent starting job in the majors. He hit just .208 with a .636 OPS in 173 major-league at-bats over the course of three seasons.

Liddi went 0 for 1 with a strikeout Monday in Anaheim. He's batting .059 over 17 at-bats for the Mariners.

(5/29/2013) The Mariners have recalled third baseman Alex Liddi from Triple-A Tacoma, the Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Liddi hit .224 with three home runs in 116 at-bats for Seattle last season. He continues to show power in the minors, as he owns a .456 slugging percentage and nine home runs in 50 games for Tacoma.

(2/15/2013) Mariners manager Eric Wedge told MLB.com on Friday that Alex Liddi has showed up to camp in excellent condition. Liddi is expected to see playing time at third base, first base and left field this spring. "He's stronger," said Wedge. "He's lean and strong. He's in great shape."
