Norberto has been on the minor-league disabled list for Triple-A Sacramento. Norberto threw 52 innings for Oakland last year with a 2.77 ERA and a 2.1 K/BB.

by Jeff Lippman | CBSSports.com (4/15/2013) Athletics relief pitcher Jordan Norberto, who was just placed on the seven-day minor league disabled list, will miss around six weeks due to a left elbow strain, the San Francisco Chronicle reports Monday.
Norberto will not require surgery and that is considered a positive development. Norberto is expected to pitch in relief with Triple-A Sacramento, when healthy enough to return.

Norberto has started the season slowly with the River Cats. He's gone 0-1 in three appearances with a 40.50 ERA. He's allowed six runs on five hits and seven walks over 1 1/3 innings with four strikeouts.
He has a left elbow strain and has no timetable to return.
