Angels drop prospect Reckling

by Bill Passonno | CBSSports.com
(5/11/2012) Angels pitching prospect Trevor Reckling was released on Friday after he struggled again following a demotion in the minors leagues. Reckling, who pitched at Double-A Arkansas last year, was moved back to Class A Inland Empire this season. The left-hander made four appearances (two starts) and surrendered 19 runs for a woeful 18.90 ERA.
