Tosoni shed from 40-man roster

(8/17/2012) The Twins outrighted outfielder Rene Tosoni to Double-A New Britain on Friday in order to create a spot on the 40-man roster for outfielder Matt Carson, who was summoned from Triple-A Rochester. Tosoni has appeared in 75 games this season across three different minor-league affiliates.
