Everidge back in A's system


(9/1/2010) The Athletics signed first baseman Tommy Everidge to a minor-league contract Tuesday.

Everidge traded to Astros


(6/22/2010) The Seattle Times reported on Tuesday that Houston has acquired first baseman Tommy Everidge from the Mariners for future considerations. Everidge was hitting .229 over 65 games with the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers this season with seven home runs and 36 RBI. During the 2009 season, Everidge saw 24 games in an Oakland A's uniform and went 19 for 85 (.224) with two homers and seven RBI.

Mariners assign three to minors


(3/13/2010) The Mariners reduced their spring roster to 51 by assigning infielders Tommy Everidge and Brad J. Nelson, and outfielder Mike Wilson to their minor league camp on Saturday.

(2/4/2010) Seattle sent first baseman Tommy Everidge outright to Triple-A Tacoma. The Mariners designated the power hitter for assignment last week to make room on their roster for newly signed Eric Byrnes. Everidge was claimed on waivers from Oakland on Jan. 15. He received an invite to spring training.

(2/1/2010) To clear a 40-man roster spot for Eric Byrnes, the Mariners designated Tommy Everidge for assignment. The Mariners now have 10 days to trade, release or send Everidge outright to the minors. Everidge was claimed on waivers by Seattle from Oakland earlier this month.

(1/15/2010) The Mariners have claimed first baseman Tommy Everidge off waivers from the Athletics. The team announced Friday the addition of the 26-year-old who made his major league debut with 24 games for Oakland last season. The A's originally selected Everidge in the 10th round of the 2004 draft out of Sonoma State University. The A's designated him for assignment Jan. 8 when they signed free agent Jack Cust.

(8/8/2009) Oakland 1B Tommy Everidge hit his first home run of the season on Saturday in a 12-6 loss to the Royals. He went 2 for 3 in the game with two runs scored and an RBI. He also drew a walk.

(8/5/2009) Tommy Everidge has two hits Tuesday to extend his hitting streak to six games. He now has hits in seven of his first eight games in his career. The one game he didn't get a hit, he walked twice and scored a run, though.
