by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(7/28/2014) Rockies pitcher Yohan Flande picked up a loss despite a decent start Monday.

Flande allowed two runs on four hits over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out eight and walked one during the outing. Flande ran into trouble in the fourth inning. After giving up a single and a double to open the frame, Flande gave up an RBI ground out. After an intentional walk, Flande allowed a sac fly. The Rockies scored just one run during the game, giving Flande the loss.

Flande is slated to take on the Tigers during his next start.

Yohan Flande has a tough time Tuesday

by Chris Cwik | CBSSports.com
(7/23/2014) Rockies pitcher Yohan Flande had a tough start Tuesday against the Nationals.

Flande allowed four runs on five hits over 5 1/3 innings. He walked two, and did not record any strikeouts during the outing. Flande was solid to open the game, tossing four scoreless innings. He ran into trouble in the fifth. After giving up a walk and a double to start the inning, Flande allowed a run to score on a Wilson Ramos groundout. Jordan Zimmermann added to the scoring with a sacrifice fly.

The following inning was also troublesome for Flande. Ryan Zimmerman was able to knock in a run on a groundout, while Ramos managed to single in another run. Flande was pulled before either run scored, but he was responsible for both hitters.

Flande managed to escape with a no-decision. His next start is slated to come against the Cubs.

Bullpen loses it for Yohan Flande in debut

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(6/25/2014) Rockies pitcher Yohan Flande made his major-league debut Wednesday against the Cardinals, settling for a no-decision in a 9-6 loss.

Flande actually left the game in line for a win, but the bullpen could not make it stand up. He didn't have much to complain about, however, as he was charged with four runs on six hits and a walk in five innings, while striking out four batters on 96 pitches.

Flande could be called on to make multiple starts for the Rockies, who have a couple of pitchers on the disabled list. His next turn in the rotation is set for Monday in Washington.
