Braves continue shaving roster

(3/15/2013) The Atlanta Braves made another wave of roster cuts Friday, optioning first baseman Ernesto Mejia to Triple-A Gwinnett and reassigning catcher Matt Kennelly, shortstop Elmer Reyes and outfielder Todd Cunningham to minor-league camp.

(3/23/2012) The Atlanta Braves announced their latest wave of cuts Friday and moved the following players to their minor-league camp: Joe Terdoslavich, Christian Bethancourt, Ernesto Mejia, Dusty Hughes and Adam Russell. "We're going to see [Terdoslavich] at Turner Field, and the same thing with Bethancourt," Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez told MLB.com. "It's just a matter of them letting us know when they are ready."
