Heckathorn makes rare outing

(4/3/2012) Milwaukee starting pitcher Kyle Heckathorn allowed five runs and eight hits in five innings during the Brewers' 5-3 loss to the Cubs in a Cactus League game on Tuesday. Heckathorn, who has not advanced past Double-A in the minors, had six strikeouts and two walks. Three of his runs permitted came on a pair of home runs, including Starlin Castro's two-run shot in the first inning.
