Angels release Andrew Taylor

(3/14/2014) The Angels released pitcher Andrew Taylor Friday.

Taylor spent all of the 2013 season on the disabled list due to a torn labrum. He went 3-4 with a 4.27 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 56:25 K:BB ratio in 59 innings between Double-A Arkansas and Triple-A Salt Lake in 2012.

(3/31/2013) The Angels have placed pitcher Andrew Taylor on the disabled list. He was shut down with a torn labrum in his left shoulder on March 13.

Taylor posted a 4.27 ERA between Double-A and Triple-A in the Angels' system last season. It's unknown how long Taylor will be out, but he will likely be sent down to the minors upon his return.

(3/13/2013) MLB.com reports an MRI on Angels reliever Andrew Taylor's left shoulder revealed a small tear in his labrum. He has been shut down indefinitely.
