Pirates acquire Keon Broxton from D-Backs

(3/27/2014) The Pirates have acquired outfielder Keon Broxton from the Diamondbacks.

Broxton spent all of last season in Double-A. He hit .231/.296/.359 in 372 plate appearances. He'll likely begin the season in the minors with Pittsburgh. 


D-Backs make roster moves

(10/3/2013) The Diamondbacks outrighted outfielder Keon Broxton to Double-A Mobile and Matt Langwell to Triple-A Reno.

Broxton owned a .231/.296/.359 slash line with eight homers over 101 games in his first season at Double-A. Langwell owned a 2.24 ERA over 60 1/3 innings at Reno this season.


Diamondbacks send seven to minors

(3/15/2013) The Arizona Diamondbacks made a series of roster moves Friday, optioning pitchers Chase Anderson, Charles Brewer and Eury De La Rosa and outfielder Alfredo Marte to Triple-A Reno. Pitchers Eric Smith and Zeke Spruill and outfielder Keon Broxton were sent to Double-A Mobile.
