Tim Fedroff, Juan Diaz clear waivers

(9/7/2013) Indians outfielder Tim Fedroff and infielder Juan Diaz both cleared waivers and were outrighted to Triple-A Columbus Saturday, MLB.com reports.

(9/1/2013) The Cleveland Indians promoted five players from the minors as part of September callups Sunday, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. In order to make room, the team designated outfielder Tim Fedroff and infielder Juan Diaz for assignment.

Both players were at Triple-A Columbus for most of this season. Fedroff batted .242 (124 for 513) with six home runs, 48 RBI and 22 stolen bases over 136 games.

Diaz, who did see some time up with Cleveland at one point this year, batted .242 with eight homers and 45 RBI over 122 games at Columbus.

Indians reduce roster

(3/11/2013) The Indians optioned Tim Fedroff, Trey Haley, T.J. House, Chen-Chang Lee and Danny Salazar to Triple-A Columbus Monday. The team also reassigned Fernando Nieve and Roberto Perez to minor-league camp.
