Mariners option Carlos Peguero to Triple-A
by R.J. White | CBSSports.com (3/22/2013) The Mariners announced Friday that outfielder Carlos Peguero has been optioned to Triple-A Tacoma.
Peguero turned in a solid line this spring, hitting .341/.386/.659 with three home runs in 41 at-bats. However, with the Mariners adding multiple outfielders this offseason, he didn't have a great chance breaking camp with the team. A very good power hitter in the PCL over the last two names, he's one to keep in mind in AL-only leagues if the Mariners' OF depth wears thin.
