Anderson racking up spring RBI
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com (2/25/2013) Rays first baseman Leslie Anderson is off to a torrid start this spring. Anderson had three RBI Sunday against the Twins, including the go-ahead RBI in the 10th inning of a 10-7 win, and has five RBI through two spring games. He also has one homer, two runs and is batting .600 (3 for 5). "Good at-bats," Rays manager Joe Maddon said, per The Tampa Tribune. "Beyond that, I'm liking what he's doing on defense. Watching him pregame it looks to me as though he's gotten a better feel for the position, also. He's looking really good. He's a different player than what I saw the last time I saw him. He looks stronger to me. He's definitely more confident. He's more comfortable here. When he showed up there was probably a lot of discomfort culturally for him. But right now he looks like he's got a pretty good handle on things. He looks good."
