Charlie Furbush saddled with loss

(4/18/2013) Tigers reliever Charlie Furbush received the loss in Wednesday's 14-inning game with the Mariners.

Furbush came into the game in the top of the 13 inning, and struck out three batters. Furbush remained in the game in the 14, but immediately gave up a hit and walked a batter. Blake Beavan was brought in to try and limit to damage, but allowed one of Furbush's runs to score.

(8/17/2012) The Mariners have activated pitcher Charlie Furbush out of the 15-day disabled list and optioned Shawn Kelley down to Triple-A Tacoma Friday.
