Pimentel part of Podsednik package


(7/29/2010) The Kansas City Royals acquired catcher Lucas May and right-handed pitcher Elisaul Pimentel from the Los Angeles Dodgers for outfielder Scott Podsednik on Wednesday night. May will be assigned to Triple-A Omaha while Pimentel will report to low Class A Burlington. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, Pimentel was signed by Los Angeles as a non-drafted free agent Dec. 12, 2006.
