by Bill Passonno | CBSSports.com (2/18/2012) Following an adventurous first season in the minors, Toronto starting pitcher Deck McGuire said he is looking forward to the new campaign. McGuire started the year with Class A Dunedin before winning a championship with Double-A New Hampshire. He compiled a 9-5 record and 3.02 ERA between the two stops. "I definitely feel more comfortable," he told the Toronto Sun. "Having played with some of the guys now and having met most of the older players last year, it makes it easier to settle in, less anxiety and a little bit more focus on what needs to be done."
