Joe Paterson optioned to Triple-A

(3/30/2013) The Diamondbacks have optioned reliever Joe Paterson to Triple-A. He allowed just one earned run in 10 innings this spring, striking out 10 batters and walking one.

Paterson returns to Triple-A, where he posted a 4.15 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 40 strikeouts in 43 1/3 innings in 2012.

Paterson sent to Triple-A

(4/24/2012) The Diamondbacks recalled pitcher Joe Martinez from Triple-A Reno on Tuesday and purchased the contract of Mike Zagurski. To make room on the roster, Arizona optioned Joe Paterson and designated Jonathan Albaladejo for assignment.
