(5/2/2012) According to MLB.com, Double-A Akron right-hander Bryce Stowell was placed on the minor-league disabled list with a right forearm strain on Wednesday. Through his first four games of the season, Stowell has piled up 15 strikeouts against no walks over seven shutout innings.
