Jerad Head signs minor league deal with Indians

(3/19/2014) The Indians have brought back one of their own in outfielder Jerad Head, whom they have signed to a minor league contract. The 31-year-old has yet to prove himself at any level, though he did slug 13 home runs in 392 at-bats at Double-A Harrisburg a year ago.

(1/26/2013) After spending the entire 2012 season with the Tigers' Triple-A affiliate, outfielder Jerad Head signed a minor-league contract with the Nationals on Saturday. Head, who turned 30 during the offseason, was among Detroit's first round of cuts during spring training last year.
