Reds' Ryan LaMarre to make MLB debut on Saturday

(8/22/2015) Reds outfielder Ryan LaMarre will make his MLB debut on Saturday. LaMarre, called up on Thursday, is in the lineup in center field, batting eighth.

LaMarre hit .257 with eight home runs and 18 RBI at Triple-A Louisville this year.


Reds promote OF Ryan LaMarre to MLB on Thursday

(8/20/2015) Following the trade of Marlon Byrd to the Giants, the Reds have promoted outfielder Ryan LaMarre to the Major Leagues on Thursday. LaMarre was a second-round draft pick by the Reds in 2010.

He had yet to make it to the big leagues before Thursday's call. In 2015 with Triple-A Louisville, LaMarre owns a .257/.307/.400 slash line with 17 doubles and eight home runs in 91 games.


Reds option Juan Duran, Yorman Rodriguez

(3/10/2015) The Reds made their first round of spring cuts Tuesday, optioning outfielder Juan Duran to Double-A Pensacola and outfielder Yorman Rodriguez to Triple-A Louisville.

The team also re-assigned eight players to minor league camp, including infielder Neftali Soto, outfielders Ryan LaMarre and Jesse Winker and pitchers Jonathon Crawford, Ismael Guillon, Nick Howard, Robert Stephenson and Nick Travieso.

Reds add four to 40-man roster

(11/20/2013) The Reds added outfielders Juan Duran and Ryan LaMarre, catcher Tucker Barnhart and pitcher Chad Rogers to the 40-man roster Wednesday.

Duran hit .251/.323/.450 with 20 home runs and 66 RBI in 407 at-bats with high Class A Bakersfield last season, his second in Bakersfield. LaMarre hit .246/.326/.373 with 10 home runs, 39 RBI and 22 stolen bases in 451 at-bats during his second full season with Double-A Pensacola. Barnhart hit .260/.348/.348 with three home runs and 44 RBI in 339 at-bats during his first full season with Double-A Pensacola.

Rogers went 8-7 with a 3.21 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 103:45 K:BB ratio in 140 innings over 25 starts between Double-A Pensacola and Triple-A Louisville.


Lotzkar among Reds' cuts

(3/12/2013) The Reds made their first big cuts of the 2013 spring training season on Tuesday and among those optioned to Triple-A Louisville were starting pitcher candidates Tony Cingrani and Daniel Corcino. Pitchers Kyle Lotzkar and Josh Ravin were optioned to Double-A Pensacola. Pitcher Carlos Contreras and outfielder Yorman Rodriguez were sent to Class A Bakersfield, while pitcher Ismael Guillon was optioned to Class A Dayton. Several others were reassigned to minor league camp and they are as follows: RHP Nick Christiani, RHP Chad Rogers, C Nevin Ashley, IF Kristopher Negron and OF Ryan LaMarre.
