Joey Terdoslavich getting work at catcher

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(2/24/2014) Braves outfielder/first baseman Joey Terdoslavich has been getting some work at catcher this spring, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Terdoslavich didn't do much in his Braves debut last season, hitting .215/.315/.266 in 79 at-bats, but he enjoyed a banner season at Triple-A Gwinnett, hitting .318/.359/.567 with 18 home runs and 58 RBI in 321 at-bats. He doesn't have any game experience at catcher in either the minor or major leagues.

(7/4/2013) The Braves have recalled corner outfielder and first baseman Joey Terdoslavich from Triple-A Gwinnett, MLB.com reports. Terdoslavich, 24, owns a .318/.359/.567 line with 18 home runs in 85 games for Gwinnett. It's unclear what his role will be right now -- most likely, he'll give the Braves a power bat off the bench.

Joey Terdoslavich much better in second Triple-A stint

by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(5/12/2013) Braves outfield prospect Joey Terdoslavich continues to tear up pitching in the International League. After hitting .318 in 27 games for Triple-A Gwinnett in April, Terdoslavich is batting .395 (15 for 38) with three home runs and eight RBI through 10 May games.

Terdoslavich's slash line through 37 games is .338/.353/.593/.946. He has one triple, seven home runs, 14 doubles, 18 runs and 24 RBI. It's been a nice rebound for Terdoslavich, who hit .180 in 53 games for Gwinnett last season before a demotion to Double-A Mississippi.

Terdoslavich entered the season as the Braves' 15th-best prospect, according to MLB.com.

(3/25/2013) Joey Terdoslavich has been assigned to Braves’ minor-league camp. He will likely begin the season at Triple-A.

Terdoslavich showing Braves potential

by Jeff Lippman | CBSSports.com
(3/4/2013) Braves prospect Joey Terdoslavich has really been seeing the ball well during his last couple of spring training games. In fact, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Terdoslavich has gone 8 for 9 in his last four spring contests. Terdoslavich, who is being looked at in the outfield this spring after flaming out as a corner infielder, is 11 for 17 (.647) on the spring season overall.

Terdoslavich on the move again

by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(2/4/2013) MLB.com reports the Braves are moving prospect Joey Terdoslavich to the outfield after a move from first base to third base in the minors didn't pan out. "We're going to to go ahead and let him play some outfield," Braves assistant general manager and director of player development Bruce Manno said. "It's one of those things where the more positions he can play, the better increase to his value. Being a switch-hitter, he's a great National League player with what he can do. Our goal for him right now is he'll be playing on the (Triple-A) Gwinnett club and he'll be playing somewhere, maybe some outfield, maybe first base."
