The 21-year-old Sanchez was 7 for 13 for a team-best .538 batting average in exhibition play. He also tied for the team lead with two stolen bases.

(4/15/2013) White Sox minor leaguer Nestor Molina had to leave his start with Double-A Birmingham Monday due to a shoulder injury, MLB.com reports.

Molina left the game after allowing three runs over 3 2/3 innings with a walk and four strikeouts. He has given up 10 runs over 12 1/3 innings with Birmingham, but does have 13 Ks.

Molina is looking to have a bounce-back season after going 6-11 with a 4.55 ERA last year over 23 appearances and 22 starts between Birmingham and Triple-A Charlotte.

by Jeff Lippman | CBSSports.com
(1/26/2013) The White Sox have not forgotten about pitcher Nestor Molina, reports the Chicago Tribune Saturday. That said, this season will be a rebuilding year for Molina, who came over in the Sergio Santos deal last offseason. Molina struggled with injuries and ineffectiveness last year at Double-A.
