Rays acquire Erik Hamren

(6/2/2013) The Rays have acquired reliever Erik Hamren from the Braves in exchange for a player to be named later or cash, the Braves' Double-A Mississippi affiliate announced Sunday. Hamren had a 2.55 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 17 2/3 innings at Mississippi.

Braves sign Erik Hamren to minor-league deal

(4/19/2013) The Braves have signed reliever Erik Hamren to a minor-league deal, the club announced Friday.

Hamren, 26, pitched 47 innings for Triple-A Tucson in the San Diego system last year. He allowed a 4.40 ERA with a 2.4 K/BB.

(3/15/2012) The San Diego Padres made their first cuts of the spring Thursday and moved the following players to their minor-league camp: Blake Tekotte (Triple-A Tucson), Juan Oramas, Jose De Paula, Erik Hamren, Edinson Rincon (Double-A San Antonio), Rymer Liriano (Class A Lake Elsinore), Robbie Erlin and Jason Hagerty.
