Telis is batting .182 in just 11 at-bats at the major league level this year.

Prospect Chris Reed no-hits Dodgers for three innings

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(3/29/2013) Dodgers prospect pitcher Chris Reed drew the start against a split-squad Dodgers team Thursday night, and the Class A Advanced pitcher held the team to just one walk and no hits in three innings of work.

"It was a packed house, and it was fun," Reed told MLB.com. "It's still spring training and obviously you're trying to work on things. But at the same time, you're facing big league hitters. You want to keep the ball down, go out there and throw strikes."

Reed was the Dodgers' first-round pick in the 2011 amateur draft.

Reed ticketed for Double-A

by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(2/10/2013) MLB.com reports Dodgers prospect Chris Reed is expected to begin the season at Double-A Chattanooga, which is expected to be a vital year in his progression. "We're taking the reins off, and we're going to let him go out and compete," Dodgers minor league director De Jon Watson. "We'll see his skill set and how he matches up with the league. I think he's going to be one of those kids that really steps up to the opportunity."
