West will rehab in minors

(3/8/2013) The Rangers optioned relief pitcher Matt West to Class A Myrtle Beach on Friday as he continues to receiver from Tommy John surgery. West did not pitch at all last season and underwent reconstructive elbow surgery last August, knocking him out until mid-season this year.
