Brewers cut seven from major-league camp Friday

(3/14/2014) The Brewers optioned first baseman Sean Halton and pitchers Mike Fiers and Hiram Burgos to Triple-A Nashville after Friday's 9-8 win over the Diamondbacks.

The team also re-assigned catcher Matt Pagnozzi, infielder Eugenio Velez, outfielder Kevin Mattison and pitcher Dustin Molleken to minor-league camp.

(3/15/2012) The Colorado Rockies made their first cuts of the spring and sent the following players to their minor-league camp: Stephen Dodson, Joe Gardner, Mike Ekstrom, Chad Bettis, Dustin Molleken, Edwar Cabrera, Lars Davis, Matt McBride, Thomas Field, Ben Paulsen, Jamie Hoffmann and Kent Matthes.
