White Sox reassign seven to minor-league camp

(3/5/2014) The White Sox reassigned seven players to minor-league camp Wednesday, including infielder Mike McDade, outfielder Denis Phipps, catcher Kevan Smith and pitchers Chris Bassitt, Parker Frazier, Brian Omogrosso and Mauricio Robles.

The White Sox have 55 players remaining in major-league camp after the moves.


White Sox sign Parker Frazier, Jamie Pedroza to minor-league deals

(11/24/2013) The White Sox have signed pitcher Parker Frazier and infielder Jamie Pedroza to minor-league deals.

Frazier went 3-5 with a 3.96 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 55:31 K:BB ratio in 72 2/3 innings between Double-A and Triple-A last season. Pedroza hit .281/.348/.362 with four home runs and 48 RBI in 370 at-bats for Double-A Mississippi.

(3/11/2013) The Colorado Rockies made their first cuts of the spring Monday and moved the following players to their minor-league camp: pitchers Chad Bettis, Parker Frazier, Daniel Houston, Tyler Anderson and Erick Threets, catcher Lars Davis, shortstop Cristhian Adames and outfielders Rafael Ortega and Kyle Parker.
